Dan Jansen Family Fest, the unofficial start to Greenfield's summer, is just one week away, and it's not too early to plan out which events you want to attend.

The 17th annual event will be held in Konkel Park, 5151 W. Layton Ave. Proceeds benefit the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department.

Here is the festival's tentative schedule courtesy of the Parks and Recreation Department's Recreator.

Friday, May 27

• 5 p.m. - festival opens
• 5-10 p.m. - carnival rides by Rainbow Valley
• 7-11 p.m. - New Dog Trick in the entertainment tent
• 11 p.m. - park and festival closes

Saturday, May 28

• noon - festival opens
• noon to 10 p.m. - carnival rides by Rainbow Valley
• noon to 4 p.m. - ride special (purchase an unlimited-ride armband for $18)
• 1:30-4:30 p.m. - Tom Anthony Group in the family tent
• 2-6 p.m. - The Oldies But Goodies Spectacular Band in the entertainment tent
• 5-6 p.m. - The Real Clowns Magic & Musical Mayhem in the family tent
• 7-11 p.m. - Mt. Olive in the entertainment tent
• 11 p.m. - park and festival closes

Sunday, May 29

• noon - festival opens
• noon to 10 p.m. - Carnival Rides by Rainbow Valley
• 2-6 p.m. - The Doo-Wop Daddies in the entertainment tent
• 2 p.m. - face painting and airbrush tattoos
• 2 p.m. - pie tasting sponsored by Bakers Square of Greenfield
• 7-11 p.m. - The Toys in the entertainment tent
• 11 p.m. - park and festival closes

Monday, May 30

• noon to 4 p.m. - ride special (purchase unlimited rides armband for $18)
