4th of July Celebration to Feature Packer, Bucky and More
Greenfield's Fourth of July event is an all-day celebration at Konkel Park and includes a parade, live music and fireworks.
Break out your lawn chairs, get on your dancing shoes and get ready for an all day fun day in Greenfield on July 4.
Members of the Greenfield 4th of July Parade and Celebration Committee has been working hard on the day-long holiday spectacular, which includes a parade starting at 12:15 p.m.
Parade participants will begin at South 68th Street and West Layton Avenue and proceed east on West Layton Avenue to Konkel Park, 5151 W. Layton Ave., entering the parking lot via the east entrance.
Eastbound lanes of Layton Avenue will be occupied by parade participants.
Last week, event organizer Jeannette Lucero announced former Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer Mark Tauscher will be the parade's honorary grand marshal. The parade will also feature the UW Marching Band and Bucky Badger.
The celebration at Konkel Park lasts from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and includes plenty of great activities for those of all ages, including live music and a DJ, and a fireworks display at dusk.

The parade was too long and had too many gaps in this heat.

I totally agree.... it seemed a bit unorganized as to who was up next and it took forever to get started... Also was upset to hear that some people were walking around, taking advantage of the weather and they were charging for water. Even though, I myself was given 4 bottles of FREE water from some of the other folks walking around, handing it out. Next yr, lets pray for 70's... ;)
