Updated: Greenfield Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident Dies
Robert Hassler Jr. was 20 years old.

Robert Hassler Jr., a 20-year-old Greenfield man, died Tuesday morning, nearly six days after he suffered severe head injuries in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Nov. 23.
The Greenfield Police Department and a hospital official confirmed Hassler died at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday at Froedert Hospital.
According to police, eye-witness statements indicate Hassler was traveling at a high speed and was attempting a stunt while not wearing a helmet when his motorcycle crashed in the 5000 block of 116th Street, near Whitnall High School.
In the days since the accident, more than 600 people showed their support for Hassler Jr. by "liking" the Support Robert Hassler Jr's Battle/Recovery Facebook page. This afternoon, dozens of people expressed their sorrow about Hassler's passing.
Justin Sibila wrote, "20 is too young to go bud. You were a strong fighter but now we all know you're in a better place. I know I will see you again someday. Miss you bud."
According to the Support Robert Facebook page, friends and family will remember Hassler Jr. during a candlelight vigil at the scene of the accident from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30.

The mother of my child has taken my son & refuses to let me me see him. If she has the right to be with him then so do I pursuant to the 14th amendment, if she does not have that right then why is my son with her? I have all the documents proving I am his father.
This is a DIRECT VIOLATION of the 14th amendment.
ALL PERSONS born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the EQUAL PROTECTION of the laws.
I have reported this crime to the Greenfield Police Department and they have refused to get a warrent .
