The first-place Whitnall boys basketball team will put its five-game league winning streak on the line when it visits winless Cudahy at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
The Falcons (8-4, 7-1), winners of six of their last seven games overall, are one game ahead of both New Berlin Eisenhower and South Milwaukee in the Woodland Conference Black Division standings.
The Packers (0-10, 0-9) have lost 16 straight games dating back to Feb. 5, 2010.
Whitnall girls basketball
The Falcons (5-6, 3-5) are looking for their first win since Dec. 29 when they host the red-hot Cudahy Packers at 7:30 p.m.
Behind Taylor Gradinjan and her 20.4 points per game, Cudahy (10-2, 8-1) has won eight straight games after starting the season 2-2. The Packers are currently one game behind undefeated Pewaukee in the Woodland Blue Division standings.
Greenfield girls basketball
The Hustlin’ Hawks (3-7, 1-7) will have their hands full when they visit defending WIAA Division 2 champion New Berlin Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m.
The Lions (9-1, 8-0) have picked up right where they left off last season by winning nine of their first 10 games behind a balanced scoring attack that includes Nicole Bauman’s 11.2 points per game, Anna Hahn’s 10.9 and Jenny Weiland’s 9.4.
Greenfield boys basketball
The Hawks (3-10, 2-6) will be looking for their third straight home win when they host Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m.
Eisenhower suffered its second league loss Tuesday to South Milwaukee but is tied with South Milwaukee for second in the Woodland Black with a 6-2 record (8-4 overall).
Junior forward/center Keith Kahlfeldt leads Eisenhower with 15.5 points per game. Greenfield’s Ricky Santiago leads the Hawks at 14.8.
