Per Bayside Police: Head-on collission at Port Washington Road just south of County Line Road. No injuries. Car spun out ahead of the other vehicle. Then another car swerved to avoid the first, but slid across and into the Northbound lane of traffic.

Living Lake Country is reporting a five-vehicle accident in Menomonee Falls at Town Line and Schlei.

WISN reports about 35 minor accidents reported in Racine County.

Regency Mall in Racine will close at 5 p.m. Bayshore Mall in Glendale remains open, reports WISN.
Patch Editor Denise Lockwood reports a car in a ditch on 6 Mile Road in Caledonia. Police only have one lane partially blocked.

3"-5" inches of snow in Southern Milwaukee area, such as Oak Creek, Greenfield and Greendale.
"5-"7 inches of snow in Racine area. Mount Pleasant has seen about 4" inches of snow.

About 200 flights out of Chicago O'Hare have been cancelled, reports WISN. Mitchell International tweets that flights are flying on normal schedule.
No closures are being reported out of Port Washington and Saukville area.

- Greenfield and Whitnall have canceled after-school activities.
- Alverno College campus is closing at 4 p.m.
- Curves locations are closed.
- The Prairie School: All after school activities, including athletics, have been cancelled.
- Wells Bros. Pizza is closing tonight.
- The Greater Racine Kennel Club will not have classes tonight
- Racine Public Library is closing today at 3:30pm. Tonight's program will be rescheduled. All materials due at the main library today will now be due tomorrow, February 8, 2013; all materials due at the Mobile Library today will now be due next Thursday, February 14, 2013.
- Brookfield Christian School is cancelling Open House & Ice Cream Social tonight, as well as all after school activities. Families planning to register can drop off forms any time next week, and to schedule a tour or for more info can firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Cardinal Stritch University Main Campus, City Center and Brookfield sites will close at 4:15 pm Feb 7. All evening classes at these locations canceled.
Another traffic update, @TotalTrafficMKE tweeted that the shoulder on US-41 southbound is blocked at 124th.

@TotalTrafficMKE tweeted that the shoulder is blocked on I-43 Northbound at Howard Ave due to an accident.
Due to weather conditions the Oak Creek Library will be closing early at 6 p.m. on Thursday and will re-open at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Despite the weather, Ozaukee County dispatch is reporting no accidents.
Update 3:23 p.m.
Patch Editor Sarah Millard reports there have been five accidents in the City of Waukesha between 1:40 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Milwaukee County has 34 power outages and Racine county has 17, according to WE Energies.
Update 3:18 p.m.
Patch editor says North Avenue exit on Hwy 45 going northbound is closed. Nearby going southbound, a cargo truck is pulled to the side holding up traffic.

WISN says it will be snowing at least till 8 p.m. when it might turn to flurries. Also, Racine County seems to be getting bulk of snow.
The right lane on I-94 EB at Barker Rd was blocked off, according to a Tweet from @TotalTrafficMKE 25 minutes ago. It's been stop and go traffic from Springdale Road in Delafield with a delay of 3 minutes.

All after-school activities for Racine Unified schools are canceled.

Greenfield Police say there has been six crashes and two spin outs with no injuries within the last hour.
Mark Benish, Mount Pleasant Public Works Director, says:
Trucks were out early salting to help with the slippery layer under the snow, then came back to the shop; went back out at 1 p.m. and expect to be out until 7 or 8 p.m., then again around 1 or 2 a.m. after the snow stops around midnight.
Drivers are reporting very slippery conditions because of the sleet we got before the snow. It's very hard to keep up with the snow when it falls this fast.

There is a Winter Storm Warning that will remain in effect until midnight tonight.
Periods of moderate and heavy snow will continue through the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening with a snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches snow by 6 p.m., Patch Media partners WISN is reported.
The storm is expected to total 4 to 7 inches.
