A 72-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after he was caught allegedly taking up-skirt photos with a cell phone at a Greenfield store.

Elric Maurice Carlson was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Monday, a woman wearing a jean skirt was shopping at Dollar Tree with her family and while looking at items on a shelf, she felt something brush against the inner part of her leg above her knee. She looked down and saw a cell phone wrapped in black fabric between her knees being held by Carlson.

Realizing he was taking pictures, the woman confronted Carlson and began to yell at him asking what he did, causing a scene within the store. She demanded to see the phone and Carlson said “shut up, just shut up and I’ll erase it.”

He’s currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail while awaiting trial.
