A Germantown man is accused of breaking into his parent’s Greenfield home, then stealing pills and guns.
Zachary C. Michels, 26, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with one count of criminal trespass, one count of theft and one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 21 months in prison and $20,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
On Sunday, a couple arrived home to their house in the 4200 block of South 94th Street and found some things out of place near a window, which had a palm print on it. The couple then contacted the Greenfield Police Department and discovered three Hydrocodone pills and two handguns were missing from the home.
The victims suspected their son was involved in the theft. When confronted by his dad Michels apologized for stealing the pills, but never specifically stated he stole the guns.
