Here are last week's top stories Monday through Friday.

Monday: Nothing like an early morning high-speed chase to get the news week going.

Tuesday: Why would anyone buy DVDs or purses or anything other than hair products from a barbershop? Better yet, why would someone try to sell those things at a barbershop?

Wednesday: OK, so this didn't actually happen Wednesday - hey, I took the day off to go to the Brewers game - but an update on the Whitnall School District insurance plan got a few people talking.

Thursday: Luckily no one was injured when a car crashed through the window of Heads Up Hair Design Studio Thursday afternoon.

Friday: Greenfield Patch was excited to speak with Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center director Amy Rowell on the eve of the center's opening in Greenfield.
