The motorcyclists kept coming down Janesville Road Saturday afternoon, taking about 10 minutes to complete their journey through the city before stopping at Tess Corners Fire Station No 1

Hundreds of motorcycles made their way into Muskego from the south as they traveled throughout southeastern Wisconsin to remember firefighters and raise money for the state memorial in Wisconsin Rapids.

The 9th annual Ride of Remembrance paid a visit to Muskego as it brought about 700 motorcyclists and 900 riders to stop at the Tess Corners Fire Station No. 1 for a brief bite to eat before they continued on their ride, which began at the House of Harley Davidson in Greenfield. The riders traveled from Muskego to Stone Bank and Dousman before their final stop in East Troy.

Residents took advantage of a lazy afternoon to pull up a blanket or chair along the route and snap a few pictures. If you have any of your own that you'd like to share, feel free to upload them.

Thanking those that participated in the WSFM Ride today. Thanks for helping & supporting a great cause where our Fallen Heros are given the recognition they deserve. And as a family member of a name listed upon the Memorial Wall. Thank you.

Absolutely Awesome! I watched them at Hwy 36 turning onto OO. Most impressive for a great cause! Very well done, And let us not forget how blessed Muskego is to have a top notch Volunteer Fire & Rescue Dept and Muskego PD. They work together in perfect harmony!

My husband and I were invited to go along on this ride and found this to be a most awesome ride ever. The ceremonies were a reminder of how these men and women put their lives on the line for us each and every time a call is put out there. It was truly an honor to be asked to join this ride. Thanks for asking us Skip. John and Tracy Snead
