Hundreds of people filed in and out of the new Pick 'n Save during a grand-opening preview Monday evening.
The store, which officially opens to the public at 6 a.m. Tuesday, replaces the previous Pick 'n Save across the street.
Attendees stood in lines for free samples of Roundy's goods, and children enjoyed face painting and other festivities.
The ceremony included live music and a ribbon-cutting event, which was attended by State Representatives Peggy Krusick and Jeff Stone, Greenfield Mayor Michael Neitzke, many city alderpersons and Roundy's officials. During the ceremony, Roundy's donated $5,000 to the Greenfield Public Library Foundation.
