Police Bust Up Greenfield Drug House
Suspect, 58, facing multiple felony charges after he's caught selling drugs out of his home.
A 58-year-old Greenfield man is facing charges after he was allegedly running a drug house out of his home.
Larry Donell Howard was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Thursday with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of keeping a drug house. If convicted, he could face up to 26 years in prison and $60,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
Greenfield police received an anonymous complaint Sunday from someone alleging Howard was selling drugs out of his home in the 4000 block of West Loomis Road. Police then surveyed his house until he left, and then pulled him over for a registration violation on his car.
During the traffic stop a K9 unit sensed drugs in the car and police found a crack pipe and marijuana cigarette in the car. Once Howard was taken into custody, he informed police he had five bags of heroin in his underwear, which he then gave them.
Police then searched his home where they found drug paraphernalia, baking soda and sleeping pills used to cut heroin, eight crack pipes, a ledger detailing his transactions and a bag of suspected cocaine base. They also found a handgun, which Howard said belongs to “a fat guy named Joe” but that he had touched it a few times.
Howard is currently being held in county jail on $5,000 cash bond.
