PHOTOS: Sikh Community Mourns After Deadly Shooting

The Oak Creek and Sikh communities began the mourning process Monday, the day after six Sikh members were shot and killed at a temple.

Members of the Sikh community are in mourning after a 40-year-old army veteran rampaged an Oak Creek temple, killing six people and then himself.

Sikh Indians, wearing turbans to cover their uncut hair due to religious practices, wept at the press confrence where area police divulged information about the shooting. Some even kneeled on the ground and leaned on each other for emotional support.

This is a sad day. Why would a 40 year veteran shot up your temple. Makes no sense to me. Kind of makes one wonder whats really going on
