Snow, Strong Wind Could Cause Dangerous Driving Conditions
The National Weather Service expects wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph Friday, causing low visibility and hazardous driving conditions.

The white blanket that has been falling on us all morning is expected to get messier.
The National Weather Service has issued a "hazardous weather outlook" for southeast and south central parts of Wisconsin. Snow is expected to last until about 3 p.m., with areas of blowing snow starting at around noon, according to the National Weather Service.
"The windy conditions ... falling temperatures ... and falling snow will produce blowing snow and greatly reduce visibilities at times in eastern Wisconsin," the weather outlook explained. "The burst of snow and wind will make for hazardous travel over the Milwaukee metropolitan area by late morning an through the afternoon. The heaviest snow and greatest wind will occur around the middle of the day."
According to Chief Brad Wentlandt, the Greenfield Police Department has responded to about a dozen weather-related spinouts in the last several hours.
Gusts of wind could reach 35 to 40 mph with snow accumulations between 2 and 3 inches, the weather service said.

It was nice to see the whole plow force headed out after work Friday and then plow my street that had no snow on it. Must be short on overtime this year because of the mild weather. How come other city just salted but ours suddenly had to plow Friday night. $$$
