Supervisor Sanfelippo's Town Hall Meetings Approaching

Residents are invited to one of two meetings this month to ask questions and to learn about issues facing Milwaukee County.

This month, 17th District Milwaukee County Supervisor Joe Sanfelippo, who represents Greendale and portions of Franklin, Greenfield and West Allis, will host two town hall meetings.

The discussion will include the 2013 Milwaukee County Budget and any other matters important to the people who live in District 17.

The meetings are:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 16, 6:30-8 p.m., Kulwicki Park Brooks Pavilion, Highway 100 and Cold Spring Road, Greenfield
  • Wednesday, Oct. 17, 6:30-8 p.m., Greendale Safety Center, Courtroom, 59th Street and Grange Avenue, Greendale

“Citizen participation is always important, and it’s especially critical when the County is working on budget priorities, as we are now for 2013,” Sanfelippo said in a statement. "I encourage everyone who lives in the 17th District to attend these town hall meetings for an open and honest discussion about the decisions and issues facing Milwaukee County government."

Sanfelippo, a Republican from West Allis, is also running for State Assembly this fall.

Supervisor Sandfillpo is running for the Assembly, be careful if he turns this into a campaign event on the public dole. He should wait until after the election.

Supervisor Sanfillipo voted against a resolution that would let the people decide if multi-million dollar undisclosed campaign contributions were good for America. In the Spring of 2012 the people of West Allis voted 70% in favor of prohibiting the
