Suspicious Activity Just Part of Treasure Hunt

A geocaching enthusiast caught the eye of an off-duty police officer at a Greenfield park and the incident made this week's police blotter.

Sometimes suspicious-looking acts are really just fun and games.

An off-duty Cudahy police officer called Greenfield police to report he observed a male subject lift up the bottom cylinder of a flagpole at a Greenfield park and put a pill bottle inside at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 2.

Greenfield police located the bottle and found it contained a log of people who had visited the site as part of geocaching treasure-hunting game.
