A 19-year-old Hales Corners man has been charged with fourth degree sexual assault after being accused of repeatedly having sex with a 16-year-old girl last spring.

Ricky Taylor was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Feb. 9, and faces a maximum of nine months of imprisonment and $10,000 in fines if convicted.

According to the criminal complaint, Taylor forced the girl to engage in sexual activity—including sexual intercourse—while at his apartment in the 7300 block of West Southridge Drive last April.

Similar assaults occurred at least 12 times.

According to the complaint the girl told Taylor “no” but he insisted until she gave in. She told police she had told Taylor secrets and that Taylor threatened to tell her parents those secrets if she didn’t have sex with him.

Taylor told police he and the girl had consensual sex three times.

Taylor is due in court for a scheduling conference Feb. 25.
