Trick-or-Treat is 1-4 p.m. Sunday
Some communities begin the festivities at 1 p.m. Others have late afternoon starts that extend the event into the evening.
Greenfield's trick-or-treat hours will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, a change from its night hours in previous years.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel lists the trick-or-treat times for 18 of its 19 municipalities here. Several communities — like Milwaukee, West Allis, West Milwaukee and Wauwatosa — also start their trick-or-treat hours at 1 p.m., but many others such as Greendale, Franklin, Hales Corners and Oak Creek, begin at 4 p.m.
For those wondering, the Green Bay Packers have their bye week this Sunday.
If you can't participate in this year's citywide trick-or-treat event, or just want to get the most out of your child's costume, there is a trick-or-treat at Mount Carmel from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday.
Speaking of costumes — be sure to check out the Patch costume contest and submit a photo of your child today!

Hey jelly bean, this story was written in 2011, when the Packers were in fact off the week of Greenfield's trick-or-treating. We had trick-or-treat story with accurate information for 2012 as well.
