Whitnall Middle School Students Wins Fire Safety Award

Whitnall Middle School student Grace Edwards earned first place in this year's Wisconsin Alliance for Fire Safety fire and burn prevention poster contest.

Grace, who received her framed poster and a $75 Kohl’s gift certificate for her statewide winning entry, is a sixth-grade student.

More than 500 entries from fourth- through seventh-graders were entered in the contest.

Proud to see a Whitnall student win the award when there was a lot of competition. Her big dilemma now is to what she's going to do with that $75 Kohl's gift card.
