Christmas Day is fast approaching and now is the time to buy gifts for your kids. Whether it’s video games clothes or just a gift card, everybody enjoys a thoughtful gift during this holiday season.

Video games are always a common item on children'ss and teenagers’ Christmas lists, and this year is no different.

Jon Drew is a junior at Whitnall and loves to game.

“There’s always one video game I want every year. This year it’s Halo 4,” he said.

Halo 4 joins Call of Duty Black Ops II, Assassin’s Creed, and NBA 2k13 as some of the top video games for Christmas 2012.

Video games, however, generally only apply to the male half of the population.

Many girls typically ask for clothes during the holiday season, due to the always-changing new fads and styles.

Grace Hughes is in seventh grade and says she’s always looking for a larger wardrobe.

“That’s what I always ask for,” she says.

Christmas time is a time for giving and the right gift can really make your loved one happy.
