Every year on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, my brother’s grade plays in the Turkey Bowl, a football game between four teams that are picked by four captains.
The teams consist of six to nine players. There are two games and the winners of those two games will play in the championship.
I interviewed the MVP and team captain of the championship team who said, "This year, I was going for size with the big guys so that we could have a good running game, and this year it really paid off in the end."
This is the fifth year that we have played this game and every year it gets bigger. Now that the football is over and the guys have empty stomachs we all should have a Happy Thanksgiving.

This sounds like a great tradition for thanksgiving day! Allowing old friends to gather after being apart from them for a long time, seems like it couldn't be much better than that!
