Alverno College is pleased to announce the Clare Scholarship, a new $12,000 annual scholarship available to female graduates of a Milwaukee Archdiocese Catholic High School. Clare Scholars can receive a total of $48,000 in scholarships to Alverno over four years, more than half the total cost of tuition.
“We want to reinforce our continued commitment to young women who understand firsthand the multitude of benefits and opportunities provided as a result of a high-caliber, Catholic education,” said Kate Lundeen, vice president for Enrollment Services at Alverno.
High school students must graduate with a minimum 2.8 GPA to qualify. This year’s Clare Scholarship winners include: Stephanie Flores Ochoa, Alexis Gore, Ixtzia Gutierrez, Faith Jones, Juwana Kujjo, Monica Moore, Esmeralda Nungaray, Brenda Rodriguez, Alisha Smith and Alejandra Zamudio from Messmer High School; Lindsey Van Dusen from Pius XI High School; Deysi Trujillo and Karla Vargas Juarez from St. Anthony School of Milwaukee; Stephanie Castillo, Karina Castro, Edith Mondragon and Gladys Mora from St. Joan Antida High School; Jessica Wewers from Saint Joseph High School; and Alyssa Mane, Karla Romero and Tiffany Romero from St. Thomas More High School.
