City of Greenfield Leaf Collection Update

The Division of Public Works is working on completing the last scheduled pick up in the city.  Crews are currently west of 76th Street and working their way to 124th Street.  Public Works is planning a final clean up collection for leaves that were placed on roads after the last scheduled pickup week or leaves that fell late.  This clean up collection will occur once Public Works has completed the third scheduled pick up.  Please NOTE that this final extra leaf cleanup is weather dependent.  Leaf collection will be discontinued if there is a snow event.  We ask residents to not place any additional leaves on the street after 7:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25th.  Public Works encourages and appreciates the mulching of leaves.  Leaves can also be brought to the Public Works building.  A bin has been set up on the south side of the building where leaves can be dropped off anytime, free of charge.

Regards,

Daniel Ewert
