Affordable Care Act, Author Visit and Will Planning Among Library Programs

Mark your calendars for these upcoming programs at the Greenfield Public Library:

Affordable Care Act: Information Fair for Consumers: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5

Do you have questions about the Affordable Care Act? Open enrollment begins on Oct. 1, and to help consumers get started with the health insurance marketplace, the Greenfield Library and Greenfield Health Department are hosting a free information fair in the Library Community Room.

The fair that will feature representatives from the Wisconsin Commissioner of Insurance, the Greenfield Health Department, a private insurance broker, and the Greenfield Public Library. These representatives will be available to provide information, answer questions, and distribute brochures and worksheets, a one-stop opportunity to get the information you need.
 
Author David Shannon to visit: 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8

David Shannon is the very popular author and illustrator of more than 30 children’s books, including No, David! and Too Many Toys. On Tuesday, Oct. 8, he'll discuss his latest book, Bugs in my Hair.

Shannon’s books will be available for purchase, or bring your own from home to have them autographed. Don’t forget your camera.
 
Will Planning - Be Prepared!: 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8

If you’ve been putting off getting your will and other legal documents in order, come to this free program that will enable you to learn and implement the key elements of estate planning, as well as provide resources that will enable you to complete a plan of your own.
