Get Out: An Easter Egg Hunt Redo and More

Easter is right around the corner and Greenfield Patch has hunted down three holiday-related events for you.

Enough with this weather already, right? Where the heck is spring?

Hopefully, it's right around the corner, but to bide some time between now and then, here are three great upcoming events for you to consider.

1. Easter Egg Hunt

Where/When: /10 a.m. to noon, Saturday

Why Go: The church's Easter egg hunt was originally scheduled for last Saturday but got "colded" out. But the hunt is back on this Saturday. The event will kick off with an Easter egg hunt for children, followed by treats, Easter-themed games, lunch and other family-themed activities. Call 414-425-1616 for more information.

Why Go: Well, you should head over the Layton Avenue Baptist Church first, and try to make it a 2-for-1 morning. The event is sponsored by the Greendale Lions Club.

3. Egg Day at the Zoo

Where/When: Milwaukee County Zoo, 10005 W. Blue Mound Rd., Milwaukee/9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday

Why Go: Are you sensing a theme here? There will be an expert "bubblologist" who creates giant bubbles, a "Hop-to-it Bunny Scavenger Hunt" for children 8 and under, colorful crafts and a parade by the Easter Bunny and his friends at 2 p.m.

Pricing: Zoo admission is $13.25 for adults, $10.25 for children 3-12, free for children 2 and under, $12.25 for adults 60 and older
