Greenfield DPW Takes on 67th Street Project

Crews put a temporary fix on one of the "worst roads in the city."

The Greenfield Department of Public Works was expected to finish a week-long project on 67th Street from Holmes Avenue to Edgerton Avenue sometime Friday afternoon.

Work began on the street earlier this week but was delayed because of rain.

According to foreman Terry Bartz, the DPW put down a 2-inch overlay of asphalt today, putting a temporary fix that will last a few years on a street Bartz called "one of the worst in the city."
