Greenfield Parks and Rec Department Using Patch to Promote Summer Contest

Participating in a new summer event brought to you by the Parks & Recreation Department is as easy as saying “cheese!

And finding out the tasks you need to complete is as easy as clicking your mouse!

The event is the JustPlay! Park Photo Contest. Grab your family and join in the fun by visiting four city parks next month and completing some creative JustPlay! tasks. Take and share photos of the fun to be eligible for great prizes.

Here's how to play: Submit photos showing your family completing four published tasks in a fun, safe and creative way. Photos can be submitted via Facebook, email (parksrec@greenfieldwi.us) or print form (, Rm. 200). Please include a contact name and phone number for all photos. Photos submitted (one per week per family group) will be entered into a random drawing for a summer fun prize package. 

Four JustPlay! tasks will be published (one per week) on Thursdays, starting June 2. Tasks/park sites will be published on Greenfield Patch as part of the park department's Local Voices blog, as well as on Facebook, Greenfield NOW, the city's website and at the Parks and Recreation Department office after 2 p.m.

This contest is open to Greenfield residents only and runs from June 2 through noon Tuesday, June 28. A drawing to determine the winner of the prize package will be held at 2 p.m. June 28. Winners will be notified by phone.
