'We Are Greenfield, We Make a Difference'
Greenfield's annual Arbor Day event was highlighted by a special proclamation by City Forester Dennis Fermenich.
More than 100 people gathered at the new Konkel Park South for Greenfield's annual Arbor Day festivities.
Volunteers planted more than three dozen trees and shrubs around the park's new pavilion Saturday. City Forester Dennis Fermenich demonstrated how to plant a tree and led the volunteers in a rousing proclamation (see the video).
It was the fifth time the Greenfield Beautification Committee chose Konkel Park for its annual event.
