Up until she was a little girl, the home's backyard was part of a dairy farm, though now the has replaced the farm.

Czaplewski, a Carroll College and Martin Luther High School graduate and the Development & Communications Specialist for Adoption Resources of Wisconsin, now owns the home with her mother.

The 34-year-old is an avid reader — she's challenged herself to read between 80 and 100 books this year — and loves to write, which made Greenfield Patch's Local Voices blog a perfect fit.

"I saw a post on Facebook about looking for more bloggers and it came at a time when I was really feeling as though my writing was not happening in my life," Czaplewski said. "I wanted the creative outlet and, since I'm always blathering on and on about books, movies, music, television, etc., I figured it'd be fun."

Czaplewski's was about one of her favorite television shows, FOX's hit Glee, but her posts have been wide-ranging with topics related to and her hobbies: , and .

The social media junkie is also considering releasing an unedited novel she wrote, one that's set in Greenfield, through her Greenfield Patch blog posts.

"Honestly, it's just plain fun for me," Czaplewski said of her Patch blogging experience. "My friends and family get sick of hearing me prattle on about what's going through my head and so it's nice to have another outlet. I've always been a journal writer, but sometimes it's just really nice to know that someone else is reading what I'm putting down. And I love introducing people to new things - maybe a new author, book, movie, show, recording artist. And I like to think that my frivolous blog can sometimes give someone who's having a rough day a little reason to smile."
