Alverno Presents: Jacky Terrasson Trio

Two-time Grammy nominee Jacky Terrasson brings an inspired and intimate performance to Alverno’s Wehr Hall, Saturday November 12th at 8 p.m.

After bursting into the jazz scene in 1993 by winning the Thelonious Monk Piano Competition, Jacky Terrasson has consistently performed and recorded richly refined and remarkably free-spirited music. Terrasson, a two-time Grammy nominee and winner of several awards released Push in 2010 featuring his exciting new trio with bassist and Monk Competition winner Ben Williams and noted drummer Jamire Williams. The trio brings an alluring range of original compositions and signature arrangements including the infectious adaptation of “Smile” and the bass feature medley of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” and “Smoke Gets In your Eyes.”

Single tickets are $25.00. Season subscriptions are still available for 15% off single ticket prices when purchasing three (or more) events.  Tickets may be purchased through the Alverno Presents Box Office at 414-382-6044 or on-line at http://alvernopresents.alverno.edu.
