Author of 'This Dark Endeavor' Visiting Greenfield PAC

Students, parents and residents are invited to meet with Kenneth Oppel, author of This Dark Endeavor, from 1-2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center, 4800 S. 60th Street.

The latest work by the author of young adult books is a prequel to Mary Shelley's classic, Frankenstein.

This Dark Endeavour is the story of young Victor Frankenstein, who would later create the infamous Frankenstein’s Monster. The book, written in a style reminiscent of Mary Shelley, revolves around Victor’s earliest efforts to discover the elixir of life, and save his critically ill twin brother from death.
