Author of 'We Didn't Cheat' at Greenfield Public Library

Dr. Lisa-Marie Calderone-Stewart’s upcoming novel, We Didn’t Cheat, is about three women who write a novella together.

The “novella sisters” will be at the Greenfield Library with Dr. Calderone-Stewart to preview the upcoming novel, due to be published in November. 

Dr. Calderone, long-time author of youth leadership texts, has worn many hats throughout her life and is known by many as an amazing mother, friend, mentor, parish youth minister, inspirational speaker, school teacher, aquatics director, swim coach, and the founder of Tomorrow’s Present.  She has published more than 20 books and more than 100 articles throughout her career. She was recognized in 2010 by the US Post Office as a “Woman Putting their Stamp on Metro Milwaukee.”

In the summer of 2009, Lisa was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and aggressive cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer - in the liver). Chemotherapy was unsuccessful, and she was left with a life expectancy of 6 months.  She published her first novel, Made to Write in spring 2010.

This program will be held in the Library Community Room. The Greenfield Public Library is located at 5310 W. Layton Ave., Greenfield. Registration is not required.
