The Wall Street Journal hailed Sweeney Todd as "the greatest musical of the past half-century,” mixing intense drama with moments of dark humor. The audience laughs one moment and gasps the next. While some people question seeing a musical about a crazed, murderous barber who plots to kill the judge who wrongfully imprisons him because he lusts after Sweeney’s wife, others view the show for what it was: a biting social commentary of the time (1846), with multiple layers of emotional and historical subtext . . . an unconventional theatre classic).

The cost is $65 per person and includes a motor coach trip, lunch and the show.
