WHAT: Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. will open its new Pick ’n Save in Greenfield Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 6 a.m. The store’s grand opening party will take place the night before on Monday, Aug. 15 and include a ribbon cutting and donation to the Greenfield Public Library Foundation.
Monday’s ribbon cutting ceremony includes help from local dignitaries.
Roundy’s and Pick ’n Save will donate $5,000 to the Greenfield Public Library Foundation.

The Party will include music by the Mike DeRose Jazz Trio, food sampling, face painting and activities for the kids, a chance to spin the prize wheel, an appearance by the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee and much more.
Store opens for shopping on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 6 a.m. and will be open 6 a.m. – 1 a.m. daily. Existing store will close Monday, August 15 @ 5 p.m.

BACKGROUND: This brand new grocery store will replace one of the oldest stores in the Pick ’n Save network, one that has operated since 1968 across the street at 4200-D S. 76th St. Its customers will enjoy a brand new, state-of-the-art store that gives them a more efficient layout and an even greater combination of value and service. In addition to a wider selection in the produce, deli, meat, seafood and bakery departments, there will special value-driven sections. Additionally, the new store is more environmentally friendly, incorporating energy-efficient appliances and lighting.
