Greenfield Library to Host Afternoon Activities for Teens

The events begin June 15 and run through July 27.

For the teenager who is bored sitting at home during summer vacation, the Greenfield Public Library is the place to be.

Every Wednesday, beginning June 15, the library will host an event for teens only at 2 p.m. in the library's community room.

Descriptions of the events are as follows:

  • June 15 - Iron Chef Salsa - Work in groups with your friends to create a unique salsa recipe. Each participant will take home a sample of salsa and chips.
  • June 29 - Live-Action Clue - Search inside and outside the Library to solve the mystery of who killed the librarian.
  • July 13 - Harry Potter Movie Release Party - Watch Part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before the release of Part 2 on July 15. Make your own wand and enjoy Harry Potter-themed snacks while watching the movie.
  • July 27 - Video Game and Board Game Open Play - Challenge your friends to your favorite Wii game or board game. Snacks will be served.

 Registration is not required for any of the teen events.
