Layton Avenue Closure Begins Monday for Upcoming Harley Celebration

Though the House of Harley celebration doesn't begin until Wednesday, Layton Avenue is closed starting today, Aug. 26.

Commuters who use Layton Avenue will need to use an alternate route as the road is closed from 60th to 64th streets for the next eight days for the House of Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration.

The bash doesn't begin until Wednesday, but event organizers and vendors are being given two days to set up without having to deal with traffic.

The six-day event is expected to draw 250,000 people to Greenfield through Labor Day.

Businesses along the stretch will still be accessible via alternate routes.
