“Extraordinary schools contribute to an extraordinary community,” said LuAnn Bird, volunteer Coordinator of Forward Thinking and a Whitnall School Board member. “We believe that what happens in our schools affects everyone in the community. We hope to engage citizens to learn what they want and need for the schools and the community.”

Over the next few weeks, representatives of Forward Thinking will host public conversations and listening sessions to develop a community agreement between the schools and participating communities.

The three participating communities believe that through collaboration, cutting edge programs such as in technical education, can be offered to prepare students for an ever-changing global society.

The presentation will be followed by a concert at 6:30 p.m. featuring Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns.
