Whitnall High School Golf Outing is Sept. 8

A golf package is available, as is a dinner-only option.

Whitnall High School is hosting its annual golf outing at Morningstar Golfer’s Club in Waukesha on Sept. 8, to benefit students involved in athletics, arts and academics.

This four person scramble with a 1 p.m. shotgun start features all-inclusive pricing: $125 per person allows for 18-holes of golf with cart on a premier golf course, complimentary driving range, prize opportunities at every hole, lunch and dinner. A $30 dinner-only option is available.

Whitnall High School Principal Jackie Winter said the purpose of the outing is to raise money for student athletics and activities to help round out the education of all high school students.

“Money is always tight in every district. This is a fun, rewarding way for adults to get involved in helping keep these programs going,” she said. “We encourage the community and Whitnall alumni to join in and make a difference while having a great time.”

Last year’s first outing generated $6,000 for the high school.  “We had nearly 100 participants last year,” Winter said. “We are hoping to improve on that number at Morningstar.”

“Whitnall is committed to helping kids both on and off the field,” Winter added. “Our Whitnall Falcon Booster Club is probably the only booster club in the area that supports multiple groups and activities, not just focusing on athletics, for instance. The golf outing complements the Booster Club efforts to support students involved in a variety of interests."

The event is limited to the first 128 golfers.
