AAA Office Could Get a Facelift

The , 4433 S. 27th Street, could be razed and replaced with a larger office building.

The proposal is expected to be heard by the city’s .

Under the proposal, the building would increase from 4,800 square feet to 5,300, and the site’s landscaping would grow from 15 percent to 49 percent, well above the minimum 20 percent required.

The proposal is expected to be approved by the Plan Commission and expedited to the Common Council meeting March 20.

Other items on the Plan Commission agenda include:

• a proposal by Gerry Klamrowski to create four lots – three single-family parcels of approximately 16,000 square feet each along 35th Street and one large outlot of 134,300 square feet – as part of the Greenfield Parkview Estates subdivision.
• The creation of three additional lots to join five existing lots in the Granada Meadows subdivision at 40th Street and Mangold Avenue.
• The possible expanded hours of operation at , 5475 S. 27th Street, from 10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays to 11:30 p.m. in order to accommodate karaoke activities.
• The rebuilding of a and site improvements at 4220 W. Layton Ave.
• A discussion and possible decision on allowing on the west side of a billboard on the southeast corner of 60th Street and the eastbound I-894 on-ramp, replacing nature scenes that have been in place since 1998.
• A proposal by the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department to improve the terrace area south of the Community Center.
