AAA Office Could Get a Facelift

The auto insurance agency wants to knock down its existing building on 27th Street and rebuild a larger one.

The , 4433 S. 27th Street, could be razed and replaced with a larger office building.

The proposal is expected to be heard by the city’s .

Under the proposal, the building would increase from 4,800 square feet to 5,300, and the site’s landscaping would grow from 15 percent to 49 percent, well above the minimum 20 percent required.

The proposal is expected to be approved by the Plan Commission and expedited to the Common Council meeting March 20.
