Free Summer Events In Greenfield

Before the weather turns cool and school starts again, round out the summer with a few of these activities.

Have you blown your summer vacation budget on trips up north or out of state, but still want to sneak in a few activities before you kiss this season goodbye? 

You're in luck. Here are a handful of upcoming events right here in Greenfield, and best of all, they are all free to attend!

10 a.m. Aug. 10 (weekly on Wednesdays)

Preschoolers and their parents or caregivers can join Miss Laurie at 10 a.m. every Wednesday in the Children's Department for stories and a craft.

2-3:30 p.m. Aug. 11

This event will feature carnival games and prizes, cream puffs, cotton candy and dunk tank as well as baked goods and raffle tickets for sale.  The proceeds from the sale will go towards the Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk.

1-6 p.m. Aug. 14

Bring your cars and show them off and Playoffs first annual car show. Plaques will be awarded for best stock, best modified and fan favorite. There will be drink specials  all day and live music by Freddie & the Cruisers, The Best of Old Rock 'N Roll from 3-7 p.m.

Movie In The Park

approximately 8 p.m. Aug. 20

The movie is Disney's Tangled and the theme is fun. will provide free popcorn (while supplies last) and a visit from Moola the Moose. Concessions will be available. Please bring a chair or a blanket to sit on and don't forget the bug spray.
