Kopp's Owner Hopes to Open Walker's Point Restaurant

Karl Kopp, owner of several Kopp's Frozen Custard stands around the Milwaukee area, including Greenfield, has plans to open a large restaurant in Walker's Point, according to a media report.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Wednesday Kopp filed plans to convert space in a 142-year-old building near the Water Street bridge into a 4,200-square-foot restaurant.

Kopp's most recent local project has been converting the corner of South 76th Street and West Layton Avenue into a meditation garden.
