Playoffs Pub Hopes to Add Patio, Volleyball Courts

The proposal will go before the Plan Commission this week.

The owner of wants to extend the area where her patrons can drink alcohol to the backyard of the building.

Dawn Gonyo will present a proposal to the city’s Plan Commission on Tuesday, Feb. 14, that will include a patio and two volleyball courts.

The entire backyard, including the patio and volleyball courts, would be fenced in, according to the proposal. Per city guidelines, because there are multi-family apartments adjacent to Playoffs, the backyard area would be closed by 9 p.m. nightly.

In addition, the Plan Commission will also revisit a decision made in 1998 that requires the billboard at the southeast corner of 60th Street and the eastbound Interstate 894 on-ramp , and will consider a proposal by the owner of to serve alcohol that would eventually occupy the entire adjacent tenant space.

  • Tri-City Hyundai will propose to the City of Greenfield’s Plan Commission on Tuesday that it takes over the Mitsubishi Motors auto dealership at 6133 S. 27th Street. It is estimated that the dealership, located next to Romine’s High Pockets, would employ approximately 45 people and would be open Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
