Power Outage Planned for City's Center Tomorrow Morning

Only one residential building will be impacted.

The , the and will all be without their primary source of power for a four-hour stretch tomorrow morning.

According to We Energies energy services consultant Gerald Witherspoon, there will be a planned power outage from 5-9 a.m. Wednesday, weather permitting. The outage is necessary so We Energies can make modifications to the primary distribution system that serves that geographic area.

Witherspoon said other buildings/facilities impacted by the outage are the Β , , and . Witherspoon said only one residential property would be without power during that stretch.

The city facilities, however, have auxiliary generator systems and will not be without power.

We Energies is lowering the existing power lines along the south side of Interstate 894 in advance of the lowering of the ClearChannel digital billboard in the DPW lot.
