U.S. Cellular Giving Away Opening Day Tickets, Smartphone Advice

Stop into the store today to register for Brewers tickets and participate in a smartphone demonstration.

For those who missed out on purchasing tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers home opener at Miller Park on April 4, U.S. Cellular is giving you a chance to win a four-pack of seats.

The winner of U.S. Cellular's Milwaukee Brewers Opening Day Package Sweepstakes will receive four tickets to the game, a parking pass and a $200 coupon to spend on concessions or merchandise.

Fans can register for the prize package at any of the 59 U.S. Cellular across the state, including Greenfield's location, 5096, S. 76th St., through Sunday. One winner will be chose March 25.

“We are happy to offer this opportunity for friends and family to enjoy a game together,” said Laurie Poellinger, director of sales for Wisconsin, in a news release. “Opening Day is like an unofficial holiday in Wisconsin and tickets can be hard to come by.”

The sweepstakes is open to anyone 18 and older.

Smartphone workshop also Saturday

The Greenfield U.S. Cellular store is also offering a free smartphone workshop from 7:30-9 a.m. Saturday to guide customers through all of the functions and features of their Android-powered, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile smartphones.

Associates will demonstrate common features such as e-mail access, Web browsing, calendar synchronization and browsing for apps.

“Device workshops are great for new smartphone owners or anyone who wants to make sure they are getting the most out of their handsets," Greenfield's store manager Denise Nelson said in a news release. "Our associates enjoy helping customers personalize their devices to fit their lifestyles.”
