If Green Fields is worth $7.4 million, why is Mt. Carmel Health & Rehab Center (19.35 acres) still only assessed at $250,000??? (tax key 602-994-003). Hopefully the city assessor can rectify this gross inequity that causes the rest of us homeowners to pick up the slack. Mt. Carmel paid just $6100 in property taxes for property that includes all of the buildings and most of their land.

This makes no sense, now the old Walmart will sit vacant and a nice driving range will be gone. Why not update the existing store?

I work at the walmart right now and we are not updating it because the store is 20 years old. there is too much to fix. i have been at walmart for 15 years. i have been hearing about a new one being built for 3 years now. but its really happening now. our store manager says it will be open sometime in october. :) hope this helps
