Work on New 'Super' Walmart Set to Begin in August
The new supermarket will be built on land where Green Fields Golf Center now sits.

According a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this morning, construction on a new Walmart on Highway 100, just south of the at 4500 S. 108th St., will begin next month.
According to the story, the construction is expected to last 10 to 12 months and will take place on the land that now is home to , a miniature golf course and the only golf driving range in the city.

The 140,000-square-foot building was approved by the Common Council late last year.
