New Attitude: A Glee Style Revenue

The Whitnall High School Drama Club is eagerly awaiting their upcoming production.

The Drama Club has been working hard for a month and a half for their upcoming November New Attitude: A Glee Style Revenue which will feature state of the art lights, fabulous dance moves, and great singers from 9th to 12th grade.

The Drama Club, directed by Mr. Weissgerber, is known for its very first Glee-style show last year, and raised more than $8,000 for their program.

“It makes me feel excited and powerful…just being in the spotlight,” said Elizabeth Brown, a senior at Whitnall High School after a hard Drama practice.

The practices are usually about two to three hours of non-stop singing and dancing. Unlike normal performances starring only one person, everyone is a star in this production to make the people in the club feel great about themselves.

Last year, the Drama Club only had a month to put the whole show together. With the finished product, more than 200 people showed up every night for four days. This year, the Drama Department is expecting more than that with more fantastic solos by amazing singers.

“I’m really excited for the performance,” said Stephanie Bradley, a senior at Whitnall High school. “I can’t wait to see all the lights.”

The performances are Nov. 1-4, in the Whitnall High School auditorium starting at 7:30 p.m. for the first three days and 2 p.m. on the last day.
