Looking for some weekend entertainment but not in the mood for a haunted house? How about tigers, bullet catches and magic!
Milwaukee’s master magician, David Seebach, returns to the Greenfield Performing Arts Center, 4800 S. 60th St., for the 22nd edition of his live Halloween magic show, Illusions in the Night, Oct. 19-27.
New attractions for 2012, the 22nd edition of the show, include a meet‐and‐greet with Sabrina the tiger and the eerie “Paintings of the Dead,” in which a notoriously eccentric painter’s severed right arm continues to paint portraits.
That’s not all. Seebach will perform the most dangerous magic act in the world, the deadly “bullet catch.” One bullet, marked by an audience member, is loaded into a revolver, which is aimed at Seebach with only a sheet of glass in between. Will the magician successfully catch the bullet in his teeth?
Illusions in the Night opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Additional shows are:
- Sat., Oct. 20, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.;
- Sun., Oct. 21, 2 p.m.;
- Thurs., Oct. 25, 7:30 p.m.;
- Fri., Oct. 26, 7:30 p.m.;
