I am waiting in line for one reason only- I want to get the PERECT photo of America's version of The Running of the Bulls.

The face of Christmas (the celebration of Jesus' birth) and the holidays in the US - utter chaos and violence.

Unbelievable. Imagine if those who stood in the soup lines during the depression just to get something to eat, could see this now.

Black Friday puts another Cadillac in my garage. Long live capitalism!

Only in America can you trample over people for new things the day after you give thanks for the things you already have. Until our donkey messiah decrees otherwise, long live Capitalism!

Funny part is, half this stuff will be at next summer's rummage sale season.

I'm not waiting in line. Never have, never will. I'd rather pay extra than fight my fellow human beings over an iPad, no matter how great the bargain is.

I just think it's a bit unnerving to consider that, for a significant percentage of our nation's largest retailers, the difference between a good year and a not-so-good year hangs on the number of folks willing to risk bodily harm in order to save 20% on something they might very well be able to save 25% on in a less frenetic environment 3 weeks down the line. That situation can't last forever.

@Randy Well said.

I will never again wait in line on Black Friday! I had to wait over 2 Hours to check out at Kohl's and to me that is just ridiculous.

This has always happened with fads like Cabbage Patch dolls, Beanie Babies, exercise equipment.....
Lee November 24, 2012 at 02:54 pm
Perplexed by your answer? The question was how long did you wait in line and what was your bargain.

Where are these pictures taken? Only one looks like it has to do with shopping? I'm supporting small businesses today--they built it.

Got the tire deal at Farm & Fleet. Got there an hour after they opened and there was 1 person ahead of us in line.

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.
Steve ® June 8, 2013 at 03:00 pm
As a producer I have better things to do. Drum circles are the blue fisters circle jerk.

Steve, Like an Okie from Muskogee, I still wave 'Ol Bluefist down by the Courthouse.
