Winter Weather Is Back Again

6 to 8 inches expected to fall in southeastern Wisconsin.

Snow started to fall heavily in Greenfield just after 3 p.m. Friday as a winter storm warning went into effect.

The warning will expire at midnight. By the time the storm is over, the National Weather Service predicted between 6 to 8 inches of snow will be on the ground.

"This will be a wet heavy snow," according to the NWS forecast.

As rush hour began, delays on the freeway system were as high as 40 minutes. The commute on southbound Interstate 94 was a bit easier, with about a three-minute increase between Layton and 7-Mile Road.
