Meet Janice: Featured Adoptable Kitty at Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center

Janice is looking for her forever home - she's a special girl who deserves the best!

Presenting... Janice! This petite lady is incredibly sweet. Her meow is as tiny as she is, and she loves to tell her humans all about everything. Here's what we love about her: she's a social butterfly. Everyone is her best buddy. She is incredible with canine friends, and would love if she had a dog to pal around with in her new home (but she'd be more than happy with just her people, too!). Her fur is uniquely short, her eyes perfectly soulful. She is an all-around great gal.

Two weeks ago, Janice was abandoned along her her two brothers. At the time of Janice's spay surgery, we learned she is FIV positive. FIV, or feline immunodeficiency virus, is a manageable condition that won't hinder Janice's ability to be a cherished family companion. Her ideal home will have no other cats, but dog friends are just fine - more than fine, given her love for the canines! To learn a little bit more about FIV, visit this web page. We've placed several FIV positive cats into loving, permanent homes, and the adoptive families have all been incredibly happy with their commitment to bettering the life of a special needs animal.
